Getting better. Hurts less to talk and swallow. Taking a half percocet when in pain and as needed so I am making some progress. My husband and child are both sick with colds, one with a cough. I have been wearing a mask to try to avoid getting sick. Getting a cold and/or cough would be so miserable right now!
Looking a little frothy but I have had an overflow of saliva for days now. The scabs seem to be wearing off a little more each day.
Thanks for the insightful posts. I'm on day 10 post tonsillectomy and the pain for the last 2 days is absolutely unbearable. Everyone says having this surgery as an adult is bad but until you have it...... Glad, I stumbled on your blog! :-)

Karen, I just saw this 3 years later! I am glad it was a helpful blog! A friend just had her tonsils out and I am rereading what helped and didn't. If anyone sees this, just know that I have no regrets having my tonsillectomy and my quality of life is much better without tbose pesky tonsils!!
DeleteJill thank you for blogging the process of healing I'm in day 4 and it feels like a lifetime of pain. Plus with the new laws, I only had pain medication for the first 3 days! So I'm sure you can imagine the pain! Anyways, your blogs help! Thank you for sharing!
