Jill's Tonsillectomy: Adult Tonsillectomies are much more difficult to recover from than tonsillectomies for children. I have decided to keep a blog for others who need a tonsillectomy and anyone who just likes icky medical things. I also don't want to gross ot Facebook friends with the daily photos I plan to post! ***for those planning on an adult tonsillectomy and you don't know how much time off to request, ideally, ask for 3 weeks off. 10 days minimum healing time, 21 days is best as some people suffer longer than others.
